Around The Town…

New, great eats on the Upper West Side, NYC (coming soon):

Serafina Restaurant: Serving cuisine from Northern Italy, each entree is created with a family recipe handed down from generations of cooks– adapted by Chef Vittorio Assaf and his team. They bring to us inspiring pasta dishes and invigorating risottos, using the finest and freshest (locally grown) ingredients and produce. Top off your feast with a deliciously crafted dessert; eye-pleasing and mouth-watering! Ask your server for the recommended wine with your dinner, or the connoisseur can select from an extensive wine list.

Location: West 77 Street and Broadway, directly across from the Hotel Belleclaire (www.hotelbelleclaire.com)

Geisha Sushi Bar: Chefs will keep you guessing with their daily changing menus! Inspiring options will include charred yakitory, sushi, and crisp tempura, in a cool and inviting atmosphere. Pair up your sushi with famous Japanese beers and hand-selected sakes.

I’ve been informed both restaurants (members of the same restaurant group) are expected to open their doors by February 2012. As soon as they do, I’ll be sure to do some field research and post reviews/photos.

See you then!
