Riders should confirm the current year’s start-area access and transportation restrictions before race morning.

June | Manhattan

NYC Pride programming takes place at locations throughout the city, with the annual Pride March traditionally centered in Lower Manhattan. From Hotel Belleclaire, the 1 train at 79th Street provides direct downtown service toward Greenwich Village and Lower Manhattan, making it convenient to reach Pride events without staying downtown.

July 4 | Location Varies

The location of the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks and its official viewing areas can change from year to year. Hotel Belleclaire guests should check the current year’s viewing locations before choosing a route. The nearby 79th Street 1 train station provides direct north-south access through Manhattan, while crosstown subway or bus connections may be needed depending on that year’s launch location.

June | Venues Throughout NYC

Tribeca Festival screenings and events are held at multiple venues, so transportation varies by program. For events in Tribeca and Lower Manhattan, guests can take the 1 train from 79th Street downtown, with several stations serving the neighborhoods where festival programming is traditionally concentrated. Check the location listed for your specific screening or event before leaving Hotel Belleclaire.

October | Javits Center

New York Comic Con takes place at the Javits Center on Manhattan’s West Side. From Hotel Belleclaire, take the 1 train from 79th Street to Times Square–42nd Street, then transfer to the 7 train one stop to 34th Street–Hudson Yards. Javits Center is located near the Hudson Yards station, providing a straightforward subway route from the Upper West Side.

November | Finish in Central Park

The TCS New York City Marathon finishes in Central Park near the Upper West Side, giving Hotel Belleclaire a particularly convenient location for marathon weekend. The hotel is at Broadway and West 77th Street, with Central Park approximately 0.5 mile east. Race-day closures affect access around the park, so runners and spectators should use the official marathon maps to determine their appropriate entrance, exit, or viewing location.

November | Central Park West to Midtown

Hotel Belleclaire is especially well positioned for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. December 31 | Times Square

Times Square is directly accessible from Hotel Belleclaire via the 1 train from 79th Street to Times Square–42nd Street. New Year’s Eve is an exception to normal Midtown travel, however, because security zones, street closures, and controlled entry points begin well before midnight. Guests attending the celebration should follow the current year’s official Times Square access instructions rather than relying on a normal walking route from the subway.

February and September | Venues Throughout NYC

New York Fashion Week does not have a single permanent venue, with runway shows, presentations, and related events taking place throughout Manhattan and other parts of the city. Hotel Belleclaire is near the 79th Street 1 train station, providing direct access down the West Side to Midtown, Chelsea, Greenwich Village, and Lower Manhattan. Guests should confirm their individual show venue before planning transportation.
