This is my favorite Upper West Side hotel!!! I highly recommend the Hotel Belleclaire if you are wanting a historically beautiful boutique hotel that is clean, safe and quiet with a staff that has ALWAYS been super friendly!!! I really want to compliment the various managers we have encountered over the years. They have all been very professional, kind and accommodating with any requests making our NYC visits fun positive experiences! The location is ideal with easy access to Central Park, Columbia University, the Subway, lots of great local dining options, and other fun entertainment venues nearby! We have a son who plays football for Columbia University, so over the last 4 years we have been to NYC a lot and stayed in various hotels, but the Belleclaire is definitely our favorite!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and beds were comfortable. We were in walking distance of EVERYTHING. Our first trip to NYC....thanks to our new son in law and our daughter!

Point positif : emplacement, bonne literie, chambre spacieuse, personnel agréable, bon petit déjeuner mais il ne faut pas avoir faim : 10 $ = 1 boisson et une viennoiserie pas plus Point négatif : beaucoup d'attente au petit déjeuner et pas assez de places assises pour manger, on avait 2 chambres et bonjour la vue horrible (mur, clim, poubelles... on ne savait même pas si il faisait jour ou nuit dans les chambres !), l'insonorisation pas top, et la wifi qui fonctionne 1 fois sur 2.

The hotel is located at a great location with easy access to the bus and the subway. It's a great blend of old architecture and modern amenities. The service and staff is very professional. The hotel is definitely a little expensive considering the size of the rooms, but I guess the price that we pay is for the location and the service that the hotel provides. They also have water bottles available at the reception throughout the day. They also give $10 vouchers per person that can be redeemed at the in-house bakery that they have which was convenient to start off the day. Would surely recommend this hotel to someone looking to stay at a pleasant and convenient location in New York.
