Love this charming hotel. History! Clean rooms. Love the location. The restaurant is delicious. We stayed in room 404. I believe there is a resident that smokes weed next door. Or on that wing. It smells like skunk and the management told me it was carpet chemicals. Come on?! It didn't smell in the other parts of the hotel. I ended up with a bad reaction to the smell. My nose is running and I have a cough. Don't ask for room 404. The showers are awesome...

Hotel Belleclaire is one of my favorite hotels! I love staying in the UWS for a more local feel. It's still very accessible to other areas in the city, plus I can walk to Central Park. They have a delicious French bakery and a great new bar & restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very charming hotel!
