This is a gem ...

This is a gem in the theatre district. Historic structure coupled with luxury rooms. Furniture is fun and functional, beds were a cozy cloud, never heard a peep from any neighbors. The bakery is was adorable and made a great latte. The hotel is convenient to the subway and bus lines. Fun shopping and restaurants all on the same block. At check-in I know I was early to arrive and figured I’d just drop my bag. But Maria and Benedict were so welcoming and looked to see if a room was ready! I appreciated the true care and personality I was greeted with. And hey - slippers in the room? Luxury.

If you're looking for ...

If you're looking for a beautiful hotel in a great location, look no further. I stayed the night for work, and was delighted by how quiet, and spacious (by New York standards) the room was! The lobby is elegant and beautiful, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. While the room is simple (no fridge or coffee) their is a wonderful cafe directly connected to the hotel, and with vouchers my breakfast was free! When it was time to leave the subway was in easy walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room was very small ...

Room was very small but adequate if you use it just as a base. The location is very good, close to central park and a (mostly) pleasant walk down Broadway to many of the New York sights. Staff were great.

Quaint hotel, food options ...

Quaint hotel, food options not great, they give you vouchers for bakery that is not really a breakfast. Rooms are nice, clean, bed comfortable and shower nice. There is a gym that I didn't visit this time.
