Loved all but my view was of a bri k Wall

This is my go-to hotel in NYC after moving away - the Upper West Side is where you want to be! Tons of cute restaurants, shops, and easy access to transportation and Central Park. Don't do what the tourists do and stay in Times Square - stay where the real New Yorkers live and play. This trip started with the best check-in ever with Diamond and Benedict, who are truly the nicest and most efficient ever - immediately friendly and welcoming! So helpful with my early arrival. Great bakery where you get a $10 credit per day - enough for a drink or pastry, or pay a few bucks more and get both. Free waters in the room. I can't comment on the main restaurant, Allure, because I haven't tried it, but it's always busy at dinner time. Stay here - believe me - it's a great deal and one of the best locations in NYC!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — close to everything and very convenient for exploring the city. The building has a classic charm but has been beautifully renovated with great taste. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the service throughout the hotel was friendly and efficient, especially at the cocktail bar, where the staff were outstanding. The only downside was the breakfast arrangement. Although our booking stated that breakfast was included, we were given $10 vouchers instead. Unfortunately, that amount barely covered a coffee and a croissant, this is probably the “American-style breakfast.” Despite that small inconvenience, the overall experience was very positive, and we would definitely stay here again. Hotel Belleclaire is the reason we go to NYC. My kids love it, the staff is exceptional and the location unmatched. We used to live in NYC and now when we go back we head to the Belleclaire where we are usually welcomed by Maria and Shanier, who are both exceptional. Any issues we have Michael solves and always makes us feel special. Last time we were there one of my kids spilled an excessive amount of liquid at night and Johan from the cleaning staff was so incredible that it prompted me to write this review. I can't say enough good things about this Hotel. In a city with lots of choices Hotel Belleclaire is at the top.
