Beautiful hotel with kind ...

Beautiful hotel with kind staff. Comfortable and quiet rooms with the bonus of HOT water. If you like lobster boil baths/showers like I do, then you'll be extremely happy with your stay here. Because of the fantastic hot water, this will now be my go to hotel for my 2-3 time annual NYC visits.

We stayed here for ...

We stayed here for our family trip to New York. The hotel was amazing. As soon as you step foot inside you are met with a lovely inviting smell. The entrance feels grand with a sense of luxury to it. The reception staff and attendants were great. The room was fantastic, large, loads of space, lovely and fresh, beautiful crisp white sheets and a great view of the city street. The family room can sleep up to 6, we had 2 large double beds and in the next room a massive queen size bed with dressing table and plenty of storage. The beds and pillows were like sleeping on clouds, it was by far the best sleep we have ever had! The bathroom had a bath and shower over that had beautiful decor and the soaps and gels had an amazing smell. Two robes were provided for the adults which was a nice touch. The heating worked great in the rooms and had dual controls. There was a safe and a microwave. We weren't hampered by road noise and all the windows had roller blinds and shutter blinds so the rooms were nice and dark. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities, but the hotel has a lovely French bakery on the ground floor with the most amazing pastries. The macarons were delicious, and we were provided with $10 each per day for breakfast from the bakery. There was a hairdryer and ironing board available in the cloakroom, which in itself was another nice touch to have somewhere for coats and shoes. In summary I would highly recommend this hotel, a lovely building, amazing rooms, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of times square but close enough to walk there, 10 mins to central park and 25-35 mins to times square. If you are thinking of staying here I would highly recommend you do. Thank you so much Hotel Belleclaire for making our once in a lifetime family trip to New York from the UK an amazing trip we won't forget.
