What Guests are Saying About Hotel Belleclaire

Stayed in the suit on the 8th floor. It was very nice, lots of seating. Stayed for a wedding and used the suits for the bridal parties to get ready. They gave her flowers and champagne complementary. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with everything and anything we needed or asked for. There were over 30 rooms booked with wedding guests, and everyone was happy 😊.

In general, the Belleclaire is a great hotel for visiting the upper West side of Manhattan. It's well designed, with real humans manning the doors and front desk. The elevators are prompt although very small. And there's a gorgeous staircase if you want to get your steps in. The rooms have some variability. So you might not get what you think you're getting. Given this is a very old building, it can come with problems. Our room had a leaky water valve that flooded the area in front of our toilet, plus a towel bar whose screw had come loose and popped off the wall, and a thermostat that wouldn't heat or cool the room, or even blow air. It's always good to ask for maintenance as soon as you see a problem, as the room cleaners don't check that level of detail. Desk clerks were really nice. We didn't make use of the breakfast vouchers because the lines were pretty long just for free coffee and pastries. If I could improve their rooms it would be with in room coffee makers and mini fridges.

Tiny rooms, quite pricy but great location. Problem was the paper thin walls and door where I could hear everything in the hall and other rooms pretty easily. Breakfast at the attached bakery was great as was the hotel service.

NY size rooms, very comfortable, seems a little pricy for what you get. Service is good, and breakfast is fair with the ticket you get... maybe you will have to drop a couple of extra dollars to get a complete meal.
