Who knew you could ...

Who knew you could stay on broadway for $87 per night. I just got back from spending my 30th birthday there and was very pleased. We had the shared bathroom suite which was no problem at all as we had a nice pedestal sink IN the room for my wife to do her thing. Clean big room, nice bed and bedding, great staff, a view onto broadway from our room, ALL for $87.

I have stayed here ...

I have stayed here multiple times over the last several years and will definitely stay again. Two blocks from a subway station, plenty of local places to eat at affordable prices, and walking distance to central park all add up to a great location. Add in the price for the rooms and it's hard to beat the Hotel Belleclaire on value. The rooms aren't big but in my experience you're going to pay a LOT more in NYC for a room any bigger than this. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean, prompt service when issues did arise. Call or email them before booking and ask about any special pricing they may have. They are very easy to work with. I have done both the shared bathroom and dedicated bathroom rooms and both were suitable for the price. I can't recommend Hotel Belleclaire highly enough
