My wife and I ...

My wife and I visited NYC for the first time overnight, so we were looking for a cheap hotel in Manhattan. We are so glad we picked Hotel Belleclaire! It's close to Central Park and the Hudson River, there's lots of dining and shopping right in the area, and the metro is nice and close. We also had great night sleeps, which generally does not happen in hotels! Pros: - Clean room - Close to everything we wanted to do - Friendly staff - Hot water was good, and quick - The $10 vouchers to the bakery were great! $20/day between the two of us got us pastries and bread every day Cons: - Getting to the toilet was very rough for a bigger guy like myself, I had to squeeze between the wall and the sink. Not a huge deal though - The elevators were a squeeze, four people and you were touching shoulders I will be coming back and I recommend this to any budget minded people

AMAZING service Naomi and ...

AMAZING service Naomi and Edward! My mom and I loved your restaurant suggestions! Thank you for the wonderful service and information too. We truly felt our needs taken care of here. There is a CVS across the street from this stunning hotel, bakery next door, and down the street a little is many grocery stores. Just a lovely, lovely experience in the upper west side. Highly recommend getting out of town square, renting the E bikes, and taking the nearby subway for transportation.

I will never stay ...

I will never stay in any other hotel when I visit NYC!! We were a group of five, so we booked connecting rooms and it was perfect for us. We came to NYC to see Harry Styles at MSG and even though we were far uptown, the subway to other parts of Manhattan were very easy to get to. There are several stations within just a few blocks of Hotel Belleclaire. Not only is the place so beautiful and perfectly quaint, but the entire staff, especially the doormen, are so kind and helpful. They are there 24hrs and will arrange a taxi back to your airport for a flat fee that is often less than uber or regular taxi fare (paid $75 to JFK, where as it's usually around $100 one way). When we arrived to drop our luggage before we could even check in, we were treated so well and we felt welcomed immediately. The bakery & cafe Mille-feuille downstairs is convenient and delicious for both coffee and pastries as well. I've truly never felt more safe, or more cared for staying in NYC. We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be back.
