Great boutique hotel in ...

Great boutique hotel in a quiet area but easy access to subway to get anywhere. Lovely lobby and bar. 2 small lifts. Stayed in room 808,a corner room which had 3 windows. Good size room with super king bed, super comfortable and several pillows. Great bed linen. Not a lot of storage, one small wardrobe with a safe and two drawers and two bedside tables with small drawers. Water in room on arrival and if you ask room service to leave you water they will. Very small, odly shaped bathroom, bit awkward if you are larger than average. Good size shower with powerful flow. Complimentary toiletries in shower and at sink. No complaints about the bedroom and very comfortable beds. All staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. You given a voucher for $10 each to redeem in the onsite Mille Fleur french patisserie. Outstanding food and hot drinks good, mocha's a bit inconsistent. Server's friendly. Two gluten free options Blueberry/or Vanilla Financier's, delicious but got fed up of eating either one each day, could have done with more GF choices for pastries. All other pastries delicious and yogurts with fruit compote delicious. Locals were queuing at 7am for opening. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Pretty decent spot. Right ...

Pretty decent spot. Right now it’s pricey but with inflation, it’s hard to judge exactly. I liked the wooden floor (no stinky carpet), that they don’t change sheets (who changes them every day??). The complimentary breakfast though is a drag - everything so slow. If you’re in town for work, wake up at 7 to be serve or forget about it. The Wi-Fi is off half of the time, another downside if you’re there for work as I was.
