What Guests are Saying About Hotel Belleclaire

Prima hotel, op een uitstekende plaats gelegen in NYC. Vlak bij de rode metrolijn. De standaardkamers zijn niet al te groot. Het bed is niet al te breed maar ligt prima. Wij verbleven op de 4e etage; wat wel prettig was ivm de hoeveelheid geluid die de airco-units produceren. Daar zit je op de hogere verdiepingen prettig verder vanaf.

Very centrally located property. I think the building was constructed in early 19th century so it has the quirks of that era. The hallways are narrow, rooms are small and elevators are probably barely big enough to fit two full size suitcases and two adults. But at Broadway and 77th Street, you are close to Central Park and all kinds of restaurants and shops. And the neighborhood is safe to walk in. I liked the French bakery attached to the hotel. (There is a $10 voucher for each guest.) Stick to the coffee and croissants which are great. The sandwiches are just so so. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go again.

Everything costs extra. No microwave in room. Also, it mentions that you get a free breakfast; not true unless you paid extra. I witnessed a small older woman telling the staff she couldn't carry her heavy bags. Staff threatened to call 911. I'm sure there was more to the story. However, that's what I saw. They also had 4 men around this tiny woman. To which she kept saying, really sir, I can't lift them.

Stayed in a Deluxe King. Not huge but adequate sized room. Super comfy bed and pillows. Room was clean. Nice fluffy towels. Good water pressure. Safe in closet. Elevators are t.i.n.y. Front desk staff very helpful and accommodating. On a downside, the hallway floors are always dirty.
