What Guests are Saying About Hotel Belleclaire

Ett hotell i ett trevligt område på Manhattan med närhet till Central Park och många bra restauranger. Rummen är relativt stora för att vara i New York. Hotellet är äldre och har en något enklare standard, men känns ändå prisvärt. Vi saknade dock minibar eller kylskåp på rummet, och i vårt rum var det väldigt lyhört mot det intilliggande rummet. Frukosten ingick delvis genom kuponger som kunde användas på det intilliggande kaféet. Där kunde det vara ont om sittplatser på morgonen.

I stopped by for a coffee and a croissant, and I had a great experience. The coffee was excellent, the croissant was fresh, delicious . The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great service. Everything was fresh and served with a smile. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

My overall rating for Hotel Belleclaire is 7 out of 10, though I do not believe the experience fully met four-star standards. The hotel’s location is excellent, and my room was ultimately decent. However, the stay began with several concerns, including a bedbug issue, an extremely small room, and a full-size bed rather than the king-size bed I requested. To the hotel’s credit, management addressed these concerns by moving me to a reasonably larger room with no further bug issues. The replacement room had a queen-size bed, which was an improvement, though still not the king-size bed requested. I was also disappointed that the room had neither a refrigerator nor a microwave. In this day and age, particularly at a hotel presented as a four-star property, these basic conveniences should be available—or at least clearly disclosed before booking. Overall, the excellent location and the staff’s efforts to resolve my concerns helped improve the stay, but the initial room conditions and lack of basic amenities kept the experience from meeting four-star expectations.

My experience at Belleclaire was great, the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Especially Amanda, she was so kind and generous!
