Gut gelegenes Hotel in Manhattan, ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der U-Bahn. Das Zimmer war winzig, aber sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Guter und freundlicher Service. Für das Frühstück erhält man einen 10 USD Gutschein für die im Haus befindliche Bäckerei. Dafür bekommt man aber kaum einen Kaffee und ein Brötchen. Das Frühstück ist deutlich zu teuer. Ebenso der Preis für das Zimmer. Aber es ist halt New York und es war Fußball WM.

Such consistent customer service just can't be beat. Edward at the entrance, Naomi and Benjamin at the front desk, and the two amazing housekeepers who took care of me during my 2 week stay. Shout out to your Human Resources department who hired this hotels great staff. I was there in January and I just came back for July and am planning to return late October. Nothing makes a visit to my favorite city like a solid home away from home, and that's the Bellclaire. Central to everything, the subway, busses, Central Park (early morning walks) and the diverse restaurants and little shops on Amsterdam Avenue. Went to a large vintage open air market on 77 and Columbus on Sunday, walked around Prospect Park after buying too much bread at the Saturday farmers market, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge after strolling the magnificent Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Wall Street, Sylvias and Red Rooster in Harlem, and so much more. Everything easily accessable from the Bellclaire. Too bad they won't let me live there.
