This hotel is by far the best hotel I've stayed in in New York. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and valued as guests. The check in staff were so friendly and professional. Our room though small was perfect for our needs and the bathroom was excellent particularly the large shower. Our room was cleaned to perfection each day. The vouchers for use at Mille Feuille Bakery are ingenious and we loved having breakfast there every morning. The pastries and tea and coffee were fabulous and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant and cocktail bar on one evening and it was so enjoyable, the staff were attentive and the food and cocktails were top class. We will definitely be back.

We had a small and cozy room that was more than adequate. Everything about tge hotel and the adjoining pasty shop spelled quality. Receiving $10 coupons for each of us was a nice touch.

We went down to NYC for a quick couples weekend. It smelled so nice in the lobby. Their signature scent is what I was told. Staff was friendly and hospitable. We got an upgraded room to a 2 bedroom suite. 2 queens and 1 king. Bathroom was small but did its job. We have been to NYC several times over the past 2 years and havent loved where we had stayed previously. We loved this little boutique hotel. For a NYC hotel, it was spacious and we talked about bringing our kids back here bc of the beds situation. And it was fairly quiet. Walking distance to some great restaurants and conveniently across from a 24 hr CVS.
