What Guests are Saying About Hotel Belleclaire

I visited Belleclaire with a group of students, and we loved our stay! Apart from an amazing location, the hotel is charming, staff are friendly, shout out to the reception staff and doorman Andrew. Breakfast at the French bakery downstairs is not only super convenient, but delicious. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we will be back!

Room 230 is not a room, it is a closet with a bed. Not viable. We could not bring our suit cases inside. This was a $400 a night closet. We had to move room and pay extra as there was no where to put any clothes. We are small people, and both of us could not fit comfortably with minimal luggage inside this room. Others in our party had the same issues. Front desk folks were amazing and moved us to a proper room, but the price is too high. No coffee machine. No water. No fridge. No breakfast included. Next time we will stay elsewhere. This was a family function so we even received a special rate!!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Belleclaire. It’s a beautiful building inside and out and in a very convenient location close to Central Park, subway stations and other sightseeing. The staff were all incredible friendly and always willing to help and greet. Our only complaint being noise from the hallway being heard in our room. Our room was just opposite the elevator and you could hear normal conversation of people waiting for the elevator so clearly it was as if they were standing inside our room. Other than that everything about our stay was great and we would happily stay there again.

We recently had the most delightful stay at the Hotel Belleclaire. Everything about this hotel is outstanding. We were visiting our daughter in New York City. Benedict helped us as we checked in and his level of professionalism was superb, he was accommodating, and so very pleasant in helping my son and I to get into our room as we were on a time crunch. He went above and beyond. This level of willingness is very rare nowadays in the hospitality industry. But I cannot tell you enough wonderful things. Truly, the ENTIRE staff we encountered throughout our stay was so very professional and friendly; everyone from the ladies at the front desk, Ned, I believe is his name, was very helpful on the phone and I believe the gentleman who works the door is named Edward, delightful. We really enjoyed chatting with him briefly every day as we were on our way to see the city. The lovely lady who fixed our room was likewise, so pleasant and most helpful. The hotel is just so beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, as is the rest of this stunning property. The room was spacious and so tastefully decorated. We were given vouchers for the bakery downstairs, which was such a nice way to start our day. When I phoned in for extra towels, it was brought up promptly. There was another gentleman who helped us as my daughter was going to try on her wedding dress, and he helped to make that moment special. Thank you! Apologies, I didn’t note his name . High level of service. The hotel is perfectly situated; a short walk away from Central Park, museums, and wonderful restaurants in the area, as well as the subway station. We will most definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Thank you all at Hotel Belleclaire, we look forward to our next visit and will happily tell our friends who frequent New York.
