I love New York ...

I love New York and until my most recent visit had always stayed close to Times Square. So glad we made the change, as the upper Westside location is beautiful especially with it being the first trip with our 3 you d children. Whilst the room was quite noisy, that's New York and we slept pretty well anyway from walking all over the city. It really is a beautiful old hotel, with great conveniences on the door step (Europan deli, Westside Market and CVS Pharmacy). Having kids in the separate room great, but it was interesting getting ready in the bathroom as it was pretty tight. This was the family room. The staff were excellent, Michael checked us in and was incredibly helpful. When we left New York we couldn't locate my husbands watch, which was left behind in the room. Upon emailing the hotel, they quickly confirmed his watch was located and sitting in lost property. Brian from housekeeping, not only arranged for it to be posted back to us in Australia, but first went and had the postage quoted and checked we were happy with the price before shipping it. Truly going above and beyond. I left the hotel feeling happy with our stay, so despite the tiny bathroom and noise - I could not fault it's charm, location & staff

Stayed here in November ...

Stayed here in November 2015 and it was so fantastic that I will be returning with my mum ( on her first foreign vacation) on Halloween! She is beyond excited
